Provider Performance

Practice OwnerExecutive AdministratorSupervisor·5 min read·Updated May 2026

Provider Performance surfaces individual clinician metrics so practice owners and supervisors can monitor output, identify coaching opportunities, and ensure equitable workload distribution. CareIncite aggregates billing, caseload, and timesheet data per provider into a unified performance view.

Where to find provider data

Provider performance data is distributed across several modules:

Staff module (/staff)
Staff List and Staff Detail views. The detail view shows the provider's profile, assigned location, credentials, and a summary of their performance metrics. Accessible to ceo, admin, and support_staff roles.
Weekly Billing (/billing)
Provider-level billing breakdown with individual targets and weekly totals. Filter by a specific provider to see their billing history in isolation. Accessible to ceo, admin, and specialist (read-only).
Timesheets (/timesheets)
Timesheet entries per provider showing hours worked, billable vs. non-billable time, and schedule adherence. Accessible to ceo and admin only.
Caseload (/caseload)
Clinician View shows each provider's current caseload count vs. capacity. Drill into a provider to see their assigned clients. Accessible to ceo, admin, support_staff, and supervisor roles.

Key provider metrics

Weekly billing hours— Total billable hours delivered in the current week vs. target.
Utilization rate— Percentage of available hours that are billed. High utilization indicates efficient use of clinical time.
Caseload count— Number of active clients assigned vs. capacity.
Revenue per hour— Average billed amount per billable hour, indicating session value efficiency.
Trend direction— Whether performance is improving, stable, or declining compared to prior periods.

Supervisor access

Users with the supervisor company role see provider performance data only for their assigned team. They can view the dashboard, client data, timesheets, staff records, and caseload for providers they supervise. They cannot see practice-wide financial data or providers outside their team.

Provider self-view (QMHP)

Users with the qmhpcompany role have read-only access to their own timesheets and caseload. They cannot see other providers' data, billing totals, or practice-wide metrics. This scoped view gives clinicians visibility into their own work without exposing practice-level information.
