The Growth Equation

All Users·5 min read·Updated May 2026
Growth = Make + Save + Capture
Every feature in CareIncite maps to one or more of these pillars. The equation is not a marketing slogan — it is the organizing principle behind the product.

Why This Matters

Most practice management tools organize features by function: billing, scheduling, reporting. CareIncite organizes by financial impact. When you open any page in CareIncite, you can immediately understand how it contributes to practice growth.

This is not just a taxonomy. The Growth Equation drives how we prioritize features, measure success, and communicate value to practice owners. If a feature does not clearly map to Make, Save, or Capture, it does not belong in CareIncite.

Priority Order

The pillars are not equal. For behavioral health practices serving Medicaid and Medicare populations, Capture Money is the highest-impact pillar. Most practices are already earning the revenue — they are just losing it to operational gaps. Save Money comes second because efficiency compounds over time. Make Money comes third because retention-driven growth is the most sustainable, but requires the first two pillars to be functioning.

Capture Money

PRIMARY
Recover revenue already earned

Most behavioral health practices lose 8–15% of earned revenue to eligibility lapses, claim denials, and billing gaps. Capture Money is about closing those leaks before they become write-offs.

Features in this pillar
  • Eligibility Watchdog — real-time insurance verification across your entire caseload
  • Sessions at Risk — flag sessions that may not be reimbursable before they are billed
  • Denial Management — track, categorize, and resolve claim denials systematically
  • Per-Payer Reconciliation — match billed amounts to actual payments by payer

Save Money

SECONDARY
Reduce operational waste

Every hour your admin team spends on manual data entry, report generation, or eligibility checks is an hour that could be spent on growth. Save Money features automate the work that slows practices down.

Features in this pillar
  • Smart Data Imports — automated CSV processing from Notenetic with validation and error handling
  • Client Pool & Workload — capacity-aware clinician assignment with caseload balancing
  • Reports & Scheduling — one-click report generation with automated weekly delivery
  • Notenetic Integration — direct data sync eliminating manual export/import cycles

Make Money

TERTIARY
Grow new revenue streams

The most cost-effective source of new revenue is the client who stays. Make Money features focus on engagement, retention, and the client experience that keeps people coming back.

Features in this pillar
  • Client Portal — appointment visibility, resource access, and account management for active clients
  • Resource Library — share educational materials, worksheets, and care plans with clients between sessions
Using the Growth Equation
Throughout these docs, you will see pillar badges on each feature page indicating which part of the Growth Equation that feature serves. Use this to prioritize your onboarding: start with Capture Money features to recover lost revenue, then Save Money to reduce operational costs, then Make Money to grow through retention.
